This policy explains how Tech Pantry Services collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect and why

a) Enquiries and contact forms

Information
name, company, role, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
Purpose
responding to your enquiry, preparing and sending quotes, and maintaining the business contact arising from your request.
Retention
while your enquiry is being handled and for up to 1 year afterwards, unless a client relationship begins.

b) Clients and service delivery

Information
identification and contact details of your nominated contact person, billing details, and the technical information needed to deliver the service.
Purpose
performing the services contract, technical support, invoicing and meeting our accounting and tax obligations.
Retention
for the duration of the client relationship and afterwards for the periods required by Australian tax and corporations law (generally 5 to 7 years).

c) Online shop

Information
name, contact details, delivery address and order details. Payments are processed by our e-commerce provider; we do not store your card details.
Purpose
processing and delivering your order, and handling returns and warranty claims.
Retention
for the periods required by Australian tax and consumer law.

d) Website browsing

Information
pages visited, device and browser type, traffic source and approximate location (city and country) derived from your IP address, which is not retained.
Purpose
keeping the website working and secure and producing our own aggregate, anonymous usage statistics.

3. How we collect information

We collect personal information directly from you. For professional contacts, we may also collect identification details from publicly available or professional sources (company websites, professional networks, industry directories) for business-to-business outreach.

4. Who we disclose information to

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements, and where the law requires it:

  • Website hosting and deployment: Vercel Inc. (United States)
  • Email and productivity: Google (Ireland / United States)
  • Sales and project management: monday.com Ltd. (Israel)
  • Website measurement: Google Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) — Google Analytics 4
  • User experience analysis: Content Square SAS (France) — Contentsquare, which records anonymised page interaction and can replay it. Form field content is masked before storage.
  • Online shop and payments: Shopify and its payment processors
  • Banks, for managing payments and receipts
  • Professional advisers and government agencies, where required by law

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of the providers above store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Ireland, Israel and the European Union. As part of an international group, certain professional contact details may also be shared with Tech Pantry Spain (Sierra Nevada Peak, S.L., Spain) for service coordination and support. In each case we take reasonable steps, including contractual safeguards, to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

7. Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by writing to privacy@techpantryhq.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (www.oaic.gov.au).

8. Direct marketing

If we send you marketing communications, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message or by contacting us at the address above.

9. Children

This website is directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the law or in how we handle information. The current version will always be published on this page.
